Scope

To fulfill CAPA's mission and vision, the coalition will:

  • Establish a network of agency experts within Congress, USDA, EPA and other agencies, state government officials as relevant, as well as private nonprofit association personnel.

  • Leverage the network as a resource to exchange information so regulatory agencies and legislative bodies are familiar with the innovation occurring in the precision agriculture field to improve sustainability, safety, efficacy, and efficiency.

  • Provide a platform for stakeholders to coordinate precision agriculture events and information exchanges.

CAPA is intended for education and information exchange and does not take public policy positions or advocate on policy issues.

Our Vision

A better understanding of precision agriculture promotes a safe and sustainable food system, forward-looking public policy and improved collaboration.

Membership is free to participating trade associations and organizations. Only sweat equity is expected. Commerical, for-profit organizations interested in participating in CAPA may participate via their respective trade association(s).
